Beautiful Wedding at Coffin Ridge Winery

We had a fun family wedding last weekend & I just wanted to share some photos from my nephew's beautiful day at Coffin Ridge Winery .    Everything was absolutely stunning!   Here are just a few pics from the day.

And look at the wedding cake my niece made... so simple but gorgeous!  She's so talented!

Looking Back on July

Well there goes July...I can't believe how fast this summer is going!  We started our July long weekend with a BBQ with friends at their beautiful home in King City.   (I've had my eye on these chairs for a long time.)

It's hard to believe, but these are faux flowers from IKEA...had me fooled!

We then had two very different, but equally beautiful, weddings back to back...one was a city wedding at the Gardiner Museum in Toronto & the other was a full on country wedding in Thornbury.

If you follow me on Instagram you've seen some of these pics before & know that I loooove blooms. At the first wedding the flowers were so simple but beautiful in shades of white & cream.  Absolutely stunning with the soft grey tablecloths & white accessories.

See what I mean by very different weddings...we went from beautiful all white bouquets to gorgeous full-on colourful bouquets....so pretty!

Although we had rain for days before this wedding, the sun came out & the wedding day was perfection.  It was in a field surrounded by apple orchards.

If you want to see more crazy good wedding photos, check out one of my favourites, Sinclair & Moore...so inspiring!

Have a great weekend!

Happy 2014

Hope you all had a great holiday.  I don't know about you, but I'm feeling a little like this right now.

We not only had Christmas and New Year's but we ended the holiday with my niece's wedding.  She had it at the Cambridge Mill in Cambridge, Ontario which was beautiful.  Here are some pics of the wedding.

The groom's mother's dress was amazing, and you can check it out at Alfred Angelo.  It was actually a skirt and top, so you can wear either one again - together or separate.  You can choose the best top and bottom for your body type.  What a genius idea!! The best thing about it was that you couldn't tell it wasn't a dress.  This would be great for any occasion - prom, graduation or wedding.

Here's the back of the bride's dress.  So beautiful!!  (Note to brides: make sure your dress is just as beautiful from the back).

This was my favourite spot - the cookie table.  The bride had some of her friends and relatives make her favourite squares and cookies.  The guests could fill a bag on their way out.  What a great idea and it looked fantastic!!
